For St. Wenceslas’ day, the patron of all brewers and Czech beer, we have brewed a special St. Wenceslas’ Desitka. It is our Desitka with added fresh Saaz Special hops. We used quite a lot of it, approximately 15 kg, both in boil and dry hopping. Harvest of fresh hops occurs only once a year at the end of August and beginning of September. That’s why this beer is unique not only because of its fresh hop aroma and taste, but also of its rare availability.
