California, that is sun, energy, ideas, optimism, and that’s exactly what we were trying to put in our California. We hope you find all of it in there once you try it. Originally, it is based on the British Pale Ale, but the American version is zestier and foamier. We also added something Czech, so it is a US/CZ version.

All placesThe Matuška Brewery was founded on April 13th, 2009, which was an Easter Monday. The very first batch was brewed on this day and the beer was our special dark lager beer. The brewery falls in the mini-brewery category and it was founded by brewmaster Martin Matuška, who has been working in the beer industry since 1981.
